These three cases, and an ever lengthening history of violence against women, queer and trans people, and people of color in the U.S., compell us to talk about the uneven application of justice in this country and the ways that women, queer and trans people, and people of color are forced into a space of compulsory victimhood, even if we are able physically to fight back. So that’s what I’m thinking about this morning…
